Minecraft is Currently In Beta

Minecraft crafting is the process where resources are combined to create new items.



Minecraft is currently in Beta version 1.6. You can play both Beta single player and Beta multi-player by using the browser of the owner or download the client. Also available is Minecraft Classic mode which can be played for no cost. Minecraft development began on May 10, 2009, and the first pre-orders for this game started to pour in on June 13 in 2009. The official date of release however, is set to be on the 11th of November 2011.



Minecraft has recently been highly praised for being one of the most original games that has come into existence over the last few years. Every world is generated randomly by using hundreds, or perhaps thousands of cubes. Each cube is unique and can range from dirt blocks, to solid rock and lava blocks. You select what you want to play. You can choose to work for coal mining or building castles of great design.



In Minecraft the first night is always the most challenging and here are some simple strategies to get through the first night:



At night, various monsters and bad guys appear and attempt to kill you. Skeletons are able to shoot arrows miles away, zombies lurk in corners and wait to jump on players. Spiders leap from the top and chase the player for miles.



The first Minecraft day should be spent collecting enough raw materials to last the whole night. Begin by storing wooden logs to make planks and sticks then mine coal and rocks to make torches and picks. Stone swords can be used to defend yourself against any stray creatures that may attempt to penetrate your defenses. Also, you can build a small structure to conceal yourself in the event that you are surrounded by monsters.



You are likely to have enough materials to last through the remainder of the game. Many people use the night to excavate additional stones or explore mine systems and caves. It is not a good idea to attempt to venture into the wilderness for the first few nights, because it could lead to unexpected and painful deaths. Stepping out on the first night can cause a creeper or a rogue to fall off a roof and explode on your head, which could cause immediate death and destruction of your home.



The second night is typically much more straightforward. The more you play with the monsters the more ammunition you have. It's a lot of fun and you'll soon be addicted.
