Minecraft's Spellcraft was announced last week in conjunction with the fifth anniversary marketplace sale Today is the day we gain access to it. Spellcraft will be the first release of a brand-new scripting API for Minecraft's Bedrock Edition. The blurb says that players can "craft powerful elements spells with more than 20,000 unique combinations of spells" and also includes mystical Rifts filled with enemies. "Level your skills, and defeat harder challenges as you become more powerful!"
The magic systems of Minecraft typically only include magical enchantments, but the thought of having a full spell system to tinker with is a lot of fun. There are plenty of enemy types too, including flying wisps, mages and even a brand new Skeleton model.
The specific release time for the Spellcraft DLC is not yet known because it's "coming shortly" at the time of writing, but just keep an eye on the site and you'll be capable of downloading it as soon as it becomes available. It'll also be free, in case the teaser is to be believed. It's hard to not agree with a cost-free price.
