Microsoft's official Minecraft: Education Edition will begin its life in an early access program (kind of like the original game did) in June. The idea is to give educators to give the blocky building game a go over summer break so they can assess how it will integrate into their curriculums, providing feedback as they go. This will also aid in the creation of further lesson plans.
