Minecraft: Pocket Edition was patched to version 0.10 this week, an update that included not just the usual bugs fixes and general improvements (baby animals can now swim instead of sinking like rocks to a watery grave for instance) as well as visual enhancements too.

A graphical update may sound strange for a game whose whole aesthetics are built on low-resolution blocks. However, the changes should be obvious. As described by the official Minecraft: Pocket Edition Twitter account, there's "more watery-looking waters," "foggier-looking fog," "even more particles" and "tinted lighting on mobs and terrain."
