With all the updates, versions of builds, mods, and updates it's hard for us to comprehend how far Minecraft has been able to go. The game's full version was released back in 2011, but even before that, it's been in Early Access since 2009. It's easy for us to forget how much has changed since the game's beginning. Thankfully, this new trailer offers a wonderful glimpse into all that's changed.
This is a fan-created recreation of the original Minecraft trailer. Redditor RedAdventurer11 posted an updated version of Mojang's first big teaser and it's fun to watch, especially if you compare it to the original. It follows the same general pattern as the official, but shows off all the new biomes and features that have come to the game over the past decade.

It is a better way of promoting the game because of the new content. RedAdventurer11 made it a goal to display the major updates in the correct order, as LennyTheSpider pointed out. The segment starts around 58 seconds and showcases the ice spikes that came from 1.7, ocean monuments from 1.8 and the city fights ending from 1.9 and on.
It's a small detail that adds a sense to progression and time in the video. It's not something RedAdventurer11 was expecting people to be aware of, however, the Minecraft community never ceases to be awe-inspiring. Mycms This revitalised trailer is a great piece of nostalgia, and it's impossible not to smile while watching it.
