Minecraft Console Commands And Cheats

A console command is more than an individual string. They can transform the world by eliminating all enemies in your vicinity to melting all the metal in your inventory. But how do you enter Minecraft commands? Luckily, Minecraft console commands are wonderfully simple to use. They're just as simple as inputting Minecraft seeds. When creating a new Minecraft world you'll be prompted to choose whether or not you want to allow cheating. Any command you type in single player will need to be prefixed by forward with a slash (/); multiplayer commands will not work with this prefix.

Weather /weather WeatherType enables you to select the weather of your world or. You can select between thunder, rain or snow.



Creative mode /gamemode creative Changes the game mode to Creative mode which allows player flight, unlimited resources and prevents mobs from attacking you.



Survival mode/gamemode survival Changes game mode to Survival mode. This means that mobs will be attacking you, and you'll have to gather all resources in the traditional method.



Set time /time set 1000 Sets the time to day. For dawn, noon and night substitute "1000" by "0", "6000" or "12000" and "18000" for each.



Change difficulty to Peaceful/difficulty peaceful Changes difficulty to Peaceful/difficulty peaceful. For more challenge Replace "peaceful" with "easy", "normal" or "hard".



How do you locate the Seed Code of your world's Seed. This will create a code for your world. Keep it handy so that you can load another one in the future.



Keep your inventory up to date when you die/game rule keepInventory true This ensures that you do not lose any of your items when you pass away. This can be reverted by typing "false" instead of "true".



Stop time /gamerule donDaylightCycle false This will cause the game's day and light cycles to cease and let you live in permanent sunlight or moonlight. To restart the day/light cycle enter "/gamerule/DaylightCycle true"



Summon /summon Instantly drops the desired creature or object into your world. This is especially useful for those who are low on tame Ocelots.



Atlantis mode/atlantis Dramatically raises the level of the oceans in the world completely submerging all except the highest mountains.



Ride /ride Turns the creature you're facing into a mount.



Instant mine/instantmine One-click mining with any tool.



Freeze/freeze Stops mobs from getting away.



Fall damage/falldamage Turns on fall damage.



Fire damage/fire damage Turns on or off fire damage



Water damage/waterdamage Turns water damages on and off



Superheat or Smelt item transforms all objects into smelted form.



Instant plant/instantplant No more waiting around for seeds to grow.



Dropstore /Store Items All inventory items are stored in a chest that appears near.



Damage to items or items is no longer susceptible to degradation or damage.



Duplicate /duplicate Copies and drops the item stack that you have equipped.
