Opinion: Kindle Short Reads are dead, officially. FACT: The newest version of the Kindle restricts all books to be purchased exclusively from the Kindle Store. You still can still sell Short Reads and other short stories on Amazon. But the marketplace has gotten very competitive. Not long ago I heard that Amazon is considering making short ebooks a part of the Kindle Store offering. This will most likely happen at some point soon.
