The "Old School" version of RuneScape has proven to be a huge hit with players, gaining over one million users. Runescape-private-servers.com Jagex celebrated the milestone with a brand new update to RuneScape which brought back the God Wars Dungeon.
Executive Producer Phil Mansell thinks that this shows classic servers have strong appeal to the community: "Seeing RuneScape Old School reach the million player mark just a few days after its the game's launch is a huge milestone for the game and our players have also joined the celebration by voting for the most epic update to date."
Over 89% of the players have voted in favor of the inclusion of the God Wars dungeon, in which groups will battle four bosses for the chance to take home a legendary Godsword and other expensive equipment. You can check out the video of the dungeon after the break.
