Hey, there's some positive news about NFTs for once! Mojang has released new guidelines on the rules governing NFTs and blockchain.
You've probably heard about the absurd amount of frauds regarding NFTs in particular, and also companies using the "blockchain" when they have no need for it. Thankfully, Mojang have listened and set out some rules and the basic idea is that "integrations of NFTs in Minecraft are not something we support or allow" they said.

Their blog post on news provides a brief intro to what NFTs actually are and provides a brief explanation of the reasons they have rules for server owners and creators of content, which in brief is to "ensure that Minecraft remains a community in which everyone can access the same content". Part of the problem is the way in which NFTs "create models of exclusion and scarcity that conflict with our guidelines and the spirit of Minecraft".
Mojang have made their position clarified on this issue, by stating that "As as a result, to ensure that Minecraft players have a secure and inclusive experience, blockchain technology is not permitted to be integrated into our Minecraft client and server applications, nor are they used to create NFTs with any game content, such as worlds, persona items, skins or any other mods. ".
This is great, because it could prevent another Blockverse that was intended to be a "on-chain Ethereum NFT that could enable the creation of a unique P2E in Minecraft". Can you guess what happened? They took lots of money, and then went missing with the money.
However they're not ruled out the possibility of using blockchain within Minecraft if it might "allow for more secure gaming or other practical and inclusive applications in gaming" but they currently have no plans to implement it at the moment.
