LostMiner is a bit like Terraria. It uses 2D style gameplay however it also features things like mining, building, and crafting various items. There are also animals, bad guys, and other items as you play. The graphics aren't going to win any prizes, but they match the style of the game pretty well. Most complaints are about bugs, but this is an independent game so it's normal that there will be some bugs. The game is inexpensive and actually quite enjoyable to play.



Pixel Worlds



Pixel Worlds is an enjoyable mix of MMO and Minecraft (or more specifically, Terraria). The world is 2D and features various mining and crafting mechanics. There are also dungeons and other things to discover. What makes it unique is the inclusion of other players into the game. You can join existing servers or create your own server to be used by other players. It's an experience unlike any other and it's cross-platform with PC and Mac.

Roblox is often compared to Minecraft, even if Roblox is a lot bigger with a lot more to do. Roblox is an online platform that allows users to play many different games created by the community. A few of them involve crafting and building. They may also include shooting and puzzles, and all kinds of stuff. Roblox and Minecraft are two sides of the same coin when it comes to freedom. Players can play as they like and aren't bound by to a linear path. tiara's thoughts Sandbox-like high-level game play isn't as popular as Minecraft, but it feels like Minecraft in some ways.



Survivalcraft 1 and 2

Survivalcraft is among the closest Minecraft style games you can find. You end up on a shore of a planet made of blocks. You'll need to build things, craft stuff, make weapons, defend yourself and grow plants. This one also goes that extra step where you can build functioning machines that actually do things. Additionally you can play with three players in split screen mode if you have the right device for it. Survivalcraft 2 hasn't seen an update since 2017 so we're a little concerned that it's gone, but it plays perfectly for the moment.



Price: $4.99



Terraria is Minecraft's closest rival. It shares many of the same features, including mining, crafting and surviving, as well as killing some bosses. It's the form of a 2D space that is not 3D like Minecraft. The game features multiplayer with up to seven other players, more than 20 biomes to explore, various NPCs to seek out, and more. The game wasn't released for at least a year due to the fact that it wasn't updated in a while. But, it appears that the developers are back in the game now. If you're a subscriber to Google Play Pass, this version is also available for no cost.
