How to Install FiveM Game Server On Ubuntu 20.0

Prerequisites



- A fresh Ubuntu 20.04 VPS running on the Atlantic.Net Cloud Platform - A valid domain name that is pointed to your server's IP A root password configured on your server



Step 1 - Create Atlantic.Net Cloud Server



First, sign into your Atlantic.Net Cloud Server. Create your own server, selecting Ubuntu 20.04 as the operating system, with at minimum 2GB RAM. Connect to your Cloud Server via SSH, and login using the credentials shown at the top of the page.



Once you have logged into the Ubuntu 20.04 server you can run the following command. This will make sure that your base system is updated with the latest packages.



Step 2 - Install Required Dependencies



Before you begin, you'll have to install some dependencies in your server. The following command will install all of them:

Step 3 Install and configure FiveM



First create a directory to FiveM and download the latest version of FiveM in the directory:
