I had to update Java this morning and I was in a rush. I just accessed the first page of this wizard and did not pay much to. Then I remembered that it was installing the Ask.com application. Grrr.

I could have cancelled it, but I decided to continue. After installation there was no indication that the extension had been installed. It's all about ed When I restarted it, Chrome reported that the extension "Search App By Ask 2" was added!
I checked my search engine settings and didn't enable it. Even though ask.com was added, it was not set as my default search engine. That's it!
I'm not happy I hate that Oracle added an browser toolbar into the installation of the Java runtime. I'm wondering how many children who have installed Java to run Minecraft have this toolbar installed now?
