Although it may seem like Minecraft is everywhere, gamers have had to wait the popular series since it was launched on every other company's platforms aside from Nintendo's. Today however, we have some positive news that after months, or years of waiting, the Japanese game maker has confirmed that the sandbox game is finally coming to the Wii U on December 17th. Minecraft will include a variety of add-ons, which will let budding builders get festive for Christmas.
Mojang is also taking advantage of the Off-TV Play feature on the Wii U to allow players to transfer their worlds to their GamePad controller and allow other members of the family to commandeer control of the TV. When it is released on the Nintendo eShop in North America next week, Minecraft will cost $30but there's no word on the price it will cost UK and European gamers.
