Lenovo ThinkPad X13s Laptops in Islamabad 2022

At the MWC 2022 trade show in Barcelona, Lenovo unveiled the first laptop powered by Qualcomm's brand-new Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 chip The ThinkPad X13s. With a cooling system that is passive, Lenovo is claiming that the ThinkPad X13s has an extended battery life, with up to 28 hours of video playback, as well as boasting plenty of wireless connectivity that includes support for 5G mmWave as well as Wi-Fi 6E and more. Its set in a 90 percent recycled magnesium chassis.

Over the last couple of months, we've given a number of column inches to Qualcomm's most recent Snapdragon 8cx Generation 3. It uses four Arm Cortex-X1 prime cores operating at 3.0 GHz, four smaller A78 efficiency cores operating at 2.4 GHz, and it also comes with the latest Adreno graphics.

Qualcomm's biggest challenge with the Snapdragon8cx Gen 3 or the Windows on Arm project was the issue of application compatibility. Qualcomm has been working with Microsoft and other software companies to enable its processors based on Arm to work with x86 apps, and last year's release of Windows 11 added x86-64 application compatibility, too. These days, it is less about what will work on WoA laptops and more about how fast x86 applications run.

Focusing on Lenovo's big announcement during MWC 2022, it's introduced a number of new notebooks in 2022, but the eyes are on the Lenovo X13s. Lenovo, of course, is a large and respected name in the laptop productivity market, and their willingness (or inability) to embrace new processors and SoCs is usually a good gauge of the overall OEM curiosity about new chips.

The ThinkPad X13s is not only the first notebook for consumers that comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon8cxGen 3 processor, but it also comes with a wide range of features designed for mobile devices.

One of the most talked-about features of the ThinkPad X13s battery life is its 28-hours of use between charges. This is impressive on paper. But it really depends on the type of work to be done. Lenovo boasts video playback figures with its 49.5-Wh Lithium Polymer Battery. Its dimensions are 11.76 x 13x 0.53-inches WxDxH and weighs 2.35 pounds, which makes it portable and lightweight.

Lenovo offers the ThinkPad X13s three display types comprising 300-nit IPS AG panel and 300-nit IPS touch AG panel and an ultra-low-power 400-nit IPS AG panel. All three types of display include a 13.3" screen with an aspect ratio 16:10 and an output resolution of 2024x 1200p.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X13s comes with two webcams. One has 5MP RGB and one has five-megapixel IR camera that supports Computer Vision presence detection. Two USB 3.2 G2 Type C ports are available on the ThinkPadX13s. One 3.5 millimeter audio jack is included and an SIM card slot.


The SIM card slot is able to connect to either 5G Sub6 or 5G MMWave based on the setup. Lenovo also offers Wi-Fi 6 and WI 6E wireless network to its customers.
The ThinkPadX13s that is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 has been announced by Lenovo. Prices check at www.atreboot.com . The ThinkPad X13s will be available in the US on AT&T and Verizon in 2022.
