Minecraft: Story Mode - A Telltale Game Series is an episodic narrative-driven game series set in the world of Minecraft, coming in 2015 to PC, Mac, mobile devices and what Mojang calls "Xbox consoles" and "PlayStation consoles." MINECRAFT SERVERS Telltale has provided clarification on platforms.
The game is unique in its storyline that is influenced by the choices players make, much like Telltale's other offerings, Tales from the Borderlands, Game of Thrones, The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead. Telltale says that Telltale's game series will combine familiar characters and new themes to create an entirely new Minecraft experience. It is in the spirit of the Minecraft community and continues to inspire generations.
Mojang provides a little more details about its story-telling strategy on its blog: "We don't intend to create an official story for Steve, nor explain the world of Minecraft in depth. It will be a cool game."
