The entire country has been recreated by the Danish government in the popular computer game Minecraft.

The government hopes to make learning more enjoyable for students, by being the first nation to fully integrated into the game of blocks Minecraft games.

It has even created several lessons plans for teachers to guide them through the virtual version of their country.

The Ministry of the Environment in Denmark has created a Minecraft model of the country for players to explore.

The model that is downloaded consists of four billion blocks and requires one terabyte of storage space.

What is Minecraft?

Minecraft was created in 2009. When you start the game, the player is put into a 'virtually infinite game world.'

They can then explore different terrains, such as forests and caves.

For a bird's-eye view of the landscape, players can also fly high in the air.

To build towns and cities players are given blocks and tools.

As players advance, they can acquire advanced tools and building blocks in various materials.

The game was initially developed for the PC but now there are Xbox 360 and mobile versions available.

The model comprises around 4000 billion bricks. It consumes around 1TB (1000 Gigabytes) if you want to download the entire United States.

"We have built Denmark online in Minecraft in order that young people can plant their own forest, establish riding schools, lakes biogas plant, wind turbine and many more,' said , said Kirsten Brosbol, Danish Minister for the Environment.

Girls do well in street gangs due to more attractive people... The truth is that your dog is in love with you. Researchers have found that "love" can be an intense emotion for dogs.

"Imagination is the only limit."

This is our method of creating a bridge between the digital and the natural worlds.'

It was founded by Simon Kokkendorf and Thor Bjorn Nielsen from Geodatastyrelsen the Danish mapping arm of the government.

They used publicly available data about the country, including elevation models and information on roads and buildings and then 'transliterated' it into Minecraft's distinctive bricks.

The pair also built an electronic map system so that visitors can easily locate their own neighborhood in the model.

They will also be able to explore nature and landscapes as they appear in real life.

You can take an outing' in the countryside in any part of Denmark and view any place in Denmark in a similar way as with Google Street View,' the Agency stated.

Orestad school in Copenhagen has been testing the system to teach pupils maths and geography.

Katrin Kristensen, a teacher at Orestad school, said that in the old days teachers would lay out the map of Denmark in the classroom and let students scribble over the names of the different regions.

Future Danish schoolchildren and others will be able to keep track of the game the animals and plants they have seen in the wild.

"Now Denmark is available right here on tablets for children or computers, supporting the aim of using digital tools to enhance teaching.

We have already had good experiences using Minecraft in maths teaching for instance.

We can encourage learning even more by using the "real Denmark" now available as an online game called Minecraft World.

'Pupils think it is much more enjoyable when they're working on their own home, street and other such things.'

The developers made a change to the game: they eliminated the ability to use Dynamite in order to explode certain areas.
