WRUP All DPS Players are Sharks Edition

It's time for us to reveal a truth that a lot of MMO players aren't aware of that all DPS players are sharks. If you're wondering why many DPS seem to be addicted to the sound of the holy "GOGOGO," it's because slowing down for one minute means that they'll be dead. They're required to keep swimming and killing. This is the kind of thing MMOs can do to sharks. Don't ask how a shark is capable of typing or playing the game. You just need to realize that the rogue who does not wait for the tank or the healer, or even the other DPS cannot avoid doing what is happening. He is a shark.



One of the Massively staff members could be a shark, however I cannot confirm or say it is. Perhaps he or she will announce his or his identity in this week's WRUP. Or perhaps it's just our normal roundup of our plans for the weekend. It's not clear until you've read the rest of the article but you can tell us what you're doing in the comments section either way.



@Beau_Hindman - I'm definitely playing more State of Decay. It's a great single-player game, and is definitely one of my most played games. For MMORPGs, I'm testing out the limits of Minecraft's MMO-ness I'll be playing the latest patch of DC Universe Online, and I'll also be getting some action in Neverwinter which I think is among the most beautiful and -sounding MMOs out there right now.



@nbrianna: I returned to World of Warcraft with a bunch of guildies, so I'll be leveling up some old toons and checking out some Pandaria dungeons that I've never played. It should be enjoyable!



@Eliot_Lefebvre: World of Warcraft is currently my game of choice in my side slot, and though there are many elements in there which I'm not entirely satisfied with, I'm enjoying myself. Beyond that, there's going to be more Final Fantasy XIV questing to complete and various endgame snarky jollities to get involved in, so that's my primary concentration.



@Sypster: I don't think I have any grand plans for the weekend. I'm currently in the countdown mode of Lord of the Rings Online Helm's Deep. I'll likely try some additional scenarios from The Secret World, and maybe even try some of the World of Warcraft stuff the youngsters are raving about these days.



@mvmatt: My plans for the weekend include schoolwork, soup and if I'm lucky -- some video games. I'll be playing Warhammer Online, to remind myself of the reasons why it was shut down and to reflect on the wonderful things that almost kept me there, before the servers close next month. Aside from that I'd love to spend some time with Guild Wars 2 and The Secret World and The Secret World, both of which I've neglected for a long time. Perhaps, just maybe, I could stop some of the fools on Battlefield 4.

@MikedotFoster: This weekend, I'll be exploring the Three Spirits Dota 2 update. I'll also be playing World of Warcraft; that Warlords of Draenor announcement has me excited again.



@MJ_Guthrie - I intend to concentrate most my gaming time (and there will be some, illness be damned!) Doing my best to complete more in the Secret World's war on Filth. I want the pet and the bee suit so badly that I don't know how to earn enough tokens. But I will try! Did I mention I am stubborn? If I'm not in that I'll be slipping into a scenario or two, and testing new builds. I will also spend the weekend trying to figure out which race to use for my own Channeler in EverQuest II. It has been narrowed down to Ratonga or Kerra. Once I get this, I will only need about 30 more hours to modify the look. Oh wait, then there's the whole name thing...



@RichieProcopio This weekend I'll be euphoric. I'm not planning the frat scene. I'll be in the Tower of Nightmares in Guild Wars 2 to see what Scarlet and her new serpentine friends have been up to in Kessex Hills. Oh and Hearthstone!
