The Bastion remnants or "home sweet home" The remnants of the Bastion, or "home sweet home," as Piglins refer to them, are here! This photo shows the home of the Piglins. If you look around the world, you may also come across ruins of some old portals.



New Features in 20w16a



- Added bastion remains - Portals were destroyed - Added chain blocks. - A new music disc titled "Pigstep" by Lena Raine, which can only be found in bastions



- Added four bastion remnants: bridge and Hoglin stable as well as housing units and a treasure rooms. These structures are found in all biomes of the Nether, with the exception of the treacherous ash towers of Basalt Deltas. Explore and loot the remnants of a bastion to make it your home... but beware, Piglins don't like intruders stealing their stuff



Ruined Portals



- They can be found in any nether or overworld biome. Some are hidden underground or under the sea, or in sand

Technical Changes in 20w16a



- Added a button in the GUI that will generate an jigsaw pattern starting from the jigsaw block, using given generation depth. The maximum size for each axis for Structure Blocks from 32 to 48. Included JMX MBean for monitoring dedicated servers tick times



JMX Monitoring



It is now possible to monitor the server's tick times using JMX. The reason for this is that JMX is a well-known and supported monitoring technology that is compatible with integrated tools and integrations.



This allows server administrators to connect alerts and graphing tools with normal JMX clients and dashboards.



- A new flag enable-jmx-monitoring has been added to the server.properties file which if set to true will expose an MBean with the Object name net.minecraft.server:type=Server and two attributes averageTickTime and tickTimes exposing the tick times in milliseconds. - In order for enabling JMX on the Java runtime, you'll also need to add two JVM flags to the startup as documented here.
