Neve Paritzki Israel Celebrates Record-Breaking Tourism Entry From the United States
NEW YORK - Sep. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ - The Israel Ministry of Tourism today announced new records for arrivals of tourists in Israel from the United States in July and August. נווה פריצקי Israel welcomed 78,000 American tourists during July 2022. It was a 4 percent increase over the year before and 71,000 tourists from the United States were in Israel during August 2022.

"It is thrilling to see yet another increase in tourist numbers to Israel from the United States, already reaching and surpassing our record-breaking numbers in 2019" stated Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. "The United States is our most important destination for our inbound tourism to Israel. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had record number of tourists from Israel entering Israel each month. We are extremely happy to have witnessed this positive change, and we anticipate it to continue throughout the months and years to come."

Canada is poised to beat Israel's tourism arrivals 7200 tourists are expected to visit Israel in July 2022 and 6,600 tourists in August.

We're still not away from our record-setting numbers for 2019, and we anticipate that this surge in Israel travel will continue to grow as Canadians feel more comfortable travelling abroad."


Israel welcomed over 4.6 million tourists in 2019. 969,600 came of the United States. The country's official reopening for all tourists in May was a success, with more than 600,000.
