Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking Tourism Entry From the United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8th, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- In July and August of 2018, the Israel Ministry of Tourism recorded record numbers of tourist arrivals from the United States. Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States during July 2022 which is an increase of 4% over 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States during August 2022. That's 13% increase over 2019.

Eyal Carlin is the North American Tourism Commissioner for North America. He stated, "It's so exciting to witness a further rise in tourism to Israel from America, which is already reaching or surpassing the record-breaking numbers we saw in 2019". נווה פריצקי "The United States is the leading market for Israel inbound tourism. Canada is on track to surpass Israel's arrivals in tourist numbers 7200 tourists are expected to visit Israel in July 2022, and 6,600 tourists in August.

Gal Hana (Consul and Director for Canada, Israel Ministry of Tourism) said that "it is exciting to see how Canada's tourism to Israel is booming." We're close to reaching our record numbers for 2019, and we are anticipating that this increase in travel to Israel will continue to increase as Canadians are more comfortable at ease abroad.

Israel has welcomed more than 4.6 million visitors in the year 2019. 969,600 of them were from the United States. The country's officially reopening to travelers in May saw more than 600,000.
