Neve Paritzki Israel Celebrates Record-Break Tourism Entry The Numbers Come From the United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ - Today the Israel Ministry of Tourism announced record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States who visited Israel during the months of July and August. 78,000 visitors from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This represents a 4 percentage increase over 2019 and 71,000 visitors from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% higher than in the year 2019.

Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) stated that it was exciting to see the growth in Israeli tourism from the United States. Already surpassing our record-breaking numbers for 2019 he stated. "The United States has been our largest market for Israel's tourism inbound. Prior to the COVID-19 outbreak we were celebrating record figures of the number of tourists entering Israel each month.
