The Kerem Tunnel, Israel's newest cycle tunnel, is opened as part an extensive cycle path that is a loop around the capital.

The work currently in progress includes road construction, installation of blowers and advanced security and electrical systems in order to ensure that the tunnel is secure for the public to pass through throughout the year.
