Minecraft Update Adds Adorable Bees

Mojang is ready to launch the next update to Minecraft and it's as delicious as can be. Minecraft Snapshot 19W34A brings bees to the open-world adventure game, along with Bee Nests, Hives, and Honey. Those who play the Java version of Minecraft can try the new snapshot themselves provided they've enabled them in the Minecraft Launcher.



Many people are familiar with bees in real life. However Minecraft's bee-themed version is unique in its own way. Bees are neutral creatures. Bees travel between their home and the flowers helping to grow crops on the way. They can even share flowers with other bees. Additionally, players can breed bees by using flowers.

Bee Nests are found in Flower Forests as well as Plains biomes. Bee Hives are constructed by players using honeycomb and wooden planks. As Bees travel between flowers and Nests/Hives, the honey level inside their home will increase by 5 levels. You can even utilize campfire smoke to calm bees in their homes and then utilize a silk touch tool to get the block that has the Bees stored within. By using sheers on a Hive or Nest with honey that is full will result in a honeycomb, or Bottle to make a Honey Bottle.



Honey bottles are delicious and can be used to make sugar. For now, honeycombs can only be used for making the Bee Hive. Mojang has also changed the Dispensers to allow them to fill them with water or honey. They can also create Honeycombs out of Bee Nests and Hives. All you as a Minecraft beekeeper needs to begin their own Bee farm. It's a refreshing update that is calm and friendly in contrast to the usual Minecraft chaos.



While the latest Minecraft update isn't significantly large or set to alter the way that gamers play, it's still the perfect update for a game that's ten years old. While it does add an exciting new feature, it's amazing because of its entertaining and thoughtful nature. The Bees are adorable, and their AI is simple and cleverly executed. The Bees behave like bees. It is possible to make honey by using techniques that make sense. The introduction of Bees improves the Minecraft world without forcing players to adopt an entirely new approach to playing. It's another fantastic day for Minecraft.
