Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking Tourism Entry Counts from the United States
NEW YORK - Sep. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/- The Israel Ministry of Tourism today released new records for tourist arrivals to Israel from the United States in July and august. Israel welcomed 78,000 total travelers from the United States in July 2022 which is an increase of 4% from the year before, and 71,000 total travelers from the United States in August 2022 which is an increase of 13% from 2019.

Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) stated that it was exciting to see an increase in tourism to Israel from the United States. Already surpassing the record-breaking numbers of 2019, he said. "We aren't far off our record for 2019 and we are anticipating that the increase in travel to Israel will continue to increase because Canadians feel more confident about traveling across the globe."

In the year 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million global tourists 969,600 of whom came from the United States, and since the country's official opening to any traveler regardless of vaccination status in May of this year The country has received over 600,400 US travelers.
