Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking Tourism Entry From the United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8th, 2022 /PRNewswire• In July and August 2018, the Israel Ministry of Tourism announced record numbers of tourists arriving from the United States. The country welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States in July 2022 which is an increase of 4% from the year before and 71,000 travelers from the United States in August 2022, a 13% increase from the year before.

Eyal Carlin was the North American Tourism Commissioner. "It is thrilling to once again witness an rise in tourism to Israel from the United States. Already reaching and exceeding our record-breaking number of 2019," he stated. "The United States is our top market for inbound tourism to Israel and prior to the outbreak of COVID-19 was announced, we had record-breaking numbers of tourism entries every month. We're so happy to see an improvement in the trend and expect a continued upswing for the months and years to come."

Canada is home to 7200 tourists visiting the country in July 2022, and 6,000 tourists in August, isn't much behind the United States.


"It is exciting to see how Canada's tourism to Israel is booming," said Gal Hana, Consul and Director for Canada for the Israel Ministry of Tourism. We are close to our record-setting numbers for the year 2019 and we expect that this surge in tourism to Israel will continue to increase as Canadians are more comfortable at ease abroad.

Israel received more than 4.6 million international visitors in 2019 including 969.600 being from the United States. In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all visitors, regardless whether they have been vaccination-free. נווה פריצקי Israel has already hosted more than 600,000.
