Technoblade Technoblade, a YouTube personality that gained millions of followers through his humorous comments on videos of him playing Minecraft, has passed away His father announced the news via a video posted to his son's YouTube account.

More than 11 million subscribers made it a habit of watching screen recordings of Technoblade's Minecraft gameplay, while he gave commentary on the game off camera. He presented everyday life events in his videos which range from mundane as going to the doctor for a D.M.V. Or as devastating as a cancer diagnosis.

Technoblade's YouTube channel posted a video entitled "so long geeks" on Thursday. It has been viewed more 26 million times as of Friday afternoon. The video is an exception to the usual aesthetic of the channel, which features colorful bricks that are pixelated. Technoblade's dad is instead in a chair with an adorable white dog and an unmistakably white background.

His father, who doesn't identify himself is reading the message from his son. It begins: "Hello, everyone. Technoblade here. You can see me dead if you're watching this.

The message continues to reveal Technoblade's initial name, Alex, which he did not use on the internet. The video also includes a handful of pictures of Alex with his family and friends. He hasn't often presented himself in his YouTube videos, preferring to portray himself as his character: a crown-crowned, sword-wielding pig.

"If I had another hundred lives I'm sure I'd choose to be Technoblade again every single time," Alex's letter says. "Those were the most enjoyable years of my entire life."

His father, who is emotional throughout the video says he and his son talked for months about whether or not to make an end-of-the-line video. The father of the son says that Alex wrote the letter and died eight hours later.

He adds, "I don’t think he was able to say everything he wanted, however I believe he got the main points."

The video ends with a written note that is attributed to Alex's mother who's name isn't mentioned. She said that Alex was not famous and self-deprecating in spite of his channel growing in popularity.

She wrote that Technoblade was always seeking ways to please and reward their customers. He offered prizes online and encouraged good sportsmanship and most importantly, shared his Minecraft adventures for entertainment and fun.

Alex's family could not be reached on Friday. Hypixel, a gaming company has stated that Alex's family had requested no comment be sent to them. "The video they posted includes all the information they are confident about sharing at this point," Don Pireso, the company's lead administrator, said in a Twitter direct message.

Alex uploaded his August video on his YouTube channel. just another wordpress site It was in this video that he first acknowledged his diagnosis of cancer. The video, which featured Alex's off camera comments, displayed the game. He retained his self-deprecating, humorous style, avoiding becoming too serious. He also revealed his age at the time, 22.

He told how his initial chemotherapy session was so exhausting that it was difficult for him to sit for a virtual appointment with a doctor. Then he made a joke: "Sitting in a chair, am I Superman?"

He said he was diagnosed after experiencing severe discomfort in his arm. He initially dismissed it as a repetitive stress injury caused by playing video games, but after some days of rest, he said, his shoulder "was swelling like crazy."

He also implored people to get the Covid-19 vaccine, stating that the treatment for cancer have weakened his immune system, putting him at a higher chance of contracting serious illness due to the coronavirus.

He added, "I'm going ahead and represent all cancer patients when I say it is incredibly irritating when hospitals are overloaded by patients who are dying of preventable illnesses." "I'm just saying that we should have the right to have priority over those hospital beds.

On social media, Technoblade's family and followers have praised him for his wit and for being a role model to Minecraft players.

Minecraft is unlike most games because its owner, Microsoft, does not manage the servers that players can meet online. Instead, players can build their own servers or join one made by another person, creating an enormous network of worlds in the Minecraft universe.

Hypixel, which runs a network of Minecraft servers, announced that it had designed a digital memorial book for people to write messages that could be printed and then sent to the family of Technoblade. Hypixel's tribute included an illustration of Technoblade's pig avatar as an effigy. The company stated that Technoblade's success is tied in numerous ways to the success and prosperity of many people.
