Minecraft Dungeons is currently on the way to PC and consoles although it's a little later than expected. Mojang says the Minecraft Dungeon-Crawler sequel will launch on May 26th on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation 4 and, as was revealed in the last week's surprise Direct, Nintendo Switch.
The original plan was to release Minecraft Dungeons in April by the Microsoft-owned studio. However, it was stated that due to coronavirus-related concerns, this was not possible. - Minecraft Dungeons (@dungeonsgame), March 31 2020 Mojang also revealed a few details about the game which include that a future patch will add cross-platform multiplayer. You can team up with three players in both online and local co-op modes. The missions are a mix of procedurally generated elements as well as fixed elements that make the game new each time you play but still keeping the story and goals.
Minecraft Dungeons will come in two different versions. Alongside the standard $20 edition, there's also a $30 hero edition that includes some cosmetic items and access to a pair of DLC packs which are in the works.
