Neve Paritzki Israel Celebrates Record-Breaking Tourism Entry Counts from the United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/ Today, the Israel Ministry of Tourism announced record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States who visited Israel in the months of July and August. 78,000 tourists from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This represents a 4 percentage increase over 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States in august 2022. נווה פריצקי This is 13% more than the number of visitors in 2019.

"It is so exciting to witness a new increase in tourism to Israel from the United States, already reaching the record-breaking levels for the year 2019" stated Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. "The United States has been our largest destination for tourism to Israel that is inbound. Prior to the COVID-19 outbreak we had been celebrating record-breaking figures of the number of tourists entering Israel every month.

נווה פריצקי Canada is on track to surpass Israel's arrivals in tourist numbers 7200 tourists are expected to visit Israel in July 2022, and 6,600 tourists in August.

Gal Hana is the Consul and Director for Canada within the Israel Ministry of Tourism. "We are not far off our record 2019 numbers and we anticipate that this increase in the number of travelers to Israel will continue to increase as Canadians remain comfortable traveling internationally."

In the year 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million tourists from around the world including 969,600 from the United States, and since the country's official opening to any traveler regardless of vaccination status in May of this year, the country has already seen more than 600,400 US visitors.
