Neve Paritzki Israel Celebrates Record-Break Tourism Entry Indicators From the United States
NEW YORK - Sep. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/- The Israel Ministry of Tourism today unveiled new records for the number of tourists coming in Israel from the United States in July and august. Israel welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States for July 2022. This is a 4% rise over 2019, and 71,000 tourists from the United States for August 2022. This represents an increase of 13% from 2019.

"It is so exciting to see yet another increase in tourism to Israel from the United States, already reaching and surpassing our record-breaking numbers in 2019." stated Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. "The United States remains our largest market for Israel-bound tourism. Before the outbreak of COVID-19 there was a record-breaking number of tourist entry numbers every month. נווה פריצקי We are thrilled to see this positive shift and are expecting an upward trend that will continue for months and even years.

Canada is poised to beat Israel's tourism arrivals 7200 tourists are expected to visit Israel in the month of July 2022 and 6,600 in August.

"We are close to our record-setting numbers in 2019. We believe that this increase will continue as Canadians are more active in traveling abroad.

Israel received more than 4.6 million tourists from abroad in 2019, with 969.600 of them coming from the United States. In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all visitors, regardless whether they're vaccination-free. Israel has already hosted more than 600,000.
