The Kerem Tunnel, Israel's newest cycle tunnel, is inaugurated as part of an extensive cycle path that circles the capital.

נווה פריצקי links Nahal Refaim to Emek Motza. נווה פריצקי is beneath Ein Laban in Refaim Park. The northern entrance is located in Nahal Ein Kerem.

The 2.1-kilometer long tunnel was opened on Thursday by Jerusalem and heritage minister Ze'ev Elkin and Mayor Moshe Lion. Avi Baleshnikov of Gihon the chairman of Gihon as well as a multitude of cyclists also attended.
