Neve Paritzki (נווה פריצקי)Jerusalem's first cycle tunnel has been opened in Israel

The Kerem Tunnel provides a unique adventure in hiking and riding that should be enjoyed by all.
The Kerem Tunnel is the first bike tunnel in Israel and was officially opened in the year 2000 as a part of the Jerusalem Ring Path, a 42-kilometer cycle route that circles Jerusalem, the capital city.

The tunnel connects Nahal Refaim and Emek Motza. נווה פריצקי has a southern entrance located in Refaim Park. Ein Laban is the closest. Nahal Ein Kerem is the northern entrance.

נווה פריצקי -kilometers-long tunnel was officially opened in a ceremony held on Thursday that was attended by Jerusalem and Heritage Minister Ze'ev Elkin, Mayor Moshe Lion, Gihon water company chairman Avi Baleshnikov and hundreds of cyclists.

Road construction, installation and testing of electrical and safety systems are just a few of the ongoing works to ensure that the tunnel is secure for all year.
