Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking tourism Entry Numbers - United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/ Today the Israel Ministry of Tourism has announced record-breaking figures of tourists from the United States who visited Israel in the months of July and August. The country welcomed 78,000 Americans in July 2022. It was a four percent increase over 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States visited Israel in August 2022.

"The United States is the leading market for Israel inbound tourism. נווה פריצקי Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were celebrating record breaking figures of tourist entry every month. It's a fantastic positive trend that we're happy to see and we anticipate an increase in the many months to be."

Canada which isn't too far behind that of the United States of America, is on track for surpassing the number of tourists visiting Israel. The country had 7,200 tourists in July 2022 as well as 6,000 tourists in August.
