Leyla Aliyeva (Vice-President) and Arzu Aliyeva (Vice-President) visit several facilities in Baku

Baku, September 30 (AZERTAC). https://www.gettyimages.ca/photos/arzu-aliyeva Arzu Aliyeva as well as Leyla Aliyeva arrived in Baku to visit the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Vice-President Leyla Aliyeva's boarding school for special needs No12 as well as the Shuvalan Settlement's summer camp for orphanage No1, the Narimanov District Psycho-Neurological Orphanage, and the Downs Syndrome Association in capital.

Vice-President of the Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva were the first to visit the special boarding school No12 in Khazar District.

Mrs. Leyla and Mrs. Arzu were told by the center that it has been teaching children with disabilities since the year 1969.

In 2010 Mehriban Aliyeva (First Lady) began the work to repair the facility.

The boarding school accommodates up to 141 students aged 6-14 years of age.

Before they gave the Heydar Aliyev Foundation gift cards, Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva & Mrs. Arzu Aliyeva talked with the children.

Arzu Aliyeva was present at the Shuvalan settlement camp to celebrate the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Vice President Leyla Aliyeva.

It was learned that the facility was renovated in 2013. All necessary conditions were created here for recreation and entertainment of children.

They had a tea party with children.

The facility was informed that the Heydar Aliyev Foundation had reconstructed the facility in 2009.

Here, 103 children are being cared for by a medical team of around 90 people.

Children were given gifts from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva and Mrs. Arzu Ayeva visited the Down Syndrome Association of Moscow.

It was explained that the facility, which can house up to 96 children is aimed at integrating children into the local community as well as providing rehabilitation.
