Baku, September 30 (AZERTAC). Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva today visited the special boarding school No12 located in Khazar District, the summer camp of the orphanage No1 in Shuvalan Settlement, the psycho-neurological orphanage situated in Narimanov District and the Downs Syndrome Association in Baku, the capital.
Arzu Aliyeva, Vice-President at Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva went to the first special boarding school No12 in Khazar District.
Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva and Mrs. Arzu Alyeva were informed that the center has been teaching paralyzed children ever since 1969.
In 2010 Mehriban Aliyeva (First Lady) began the work to repair the building.
The boarding school can house up to 141 children between the ages of 6 and 14.
Mrs. Arzu Aliyeva Leyla Aliyeva, and Mrs. Arzu Aliyeva spoke with the children before they made their gifts for them from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
