Minecraft is Currently In Beta

Minecraft crafting is the way in which resources are combined to create new items.



Minecraft is currently in Beta, version 1.6. You can play as Beta single-player or Beta multi-player with the browser of the owner, or download the client. Also available is Minecraft Classic mode which can be played for no cost. Minecraft development began on May 10, 2009 and pre-orders began to be accepted for the game on June 13 the 13th of June, 2009. The official release date however, is expected to be 11th November , 2011.



Minecraft has recently been widely praised for being one of the most ingenuous games that came into existence over the last few years. Every world is randomly generated with hundreds, if not thousands, of cubes. Each cube is unique and can range from dirt blocks, to solid rock and lava blocks. You decide what you want to play with. You can work for coal mining or building magnificent castles.

There are numerous monsters and bad guys that appear at night and are determined to take your life. Skeletons shoot archers from what appears to be miles away, zombies hide in corners waiting to leap at the player without warning, and spiders leap off the top and pursue the player for miles.



It is recommended to spend your first Minecraft day to gathering enough raw materials to last throughout the night. Start by storing wood logs to use for crafting sticks and planks. Then, you can mine coal and rocks for torches and picks. A stone sword can be used to defend yourself against any stray creatures that might attempt to break through your defenses. If you are surrounded by monsters, construct an enclosing structure to protect yourself.



You must, by now, have enough materials to last through the next 10 minutes of the game. Nights are often used to excavate more stone resources or to go and explore mine systems and caves. It is a common error to attempt to venture into the wild for the first few nights because it could lead to unintentional and unpleasant deaths. When you first venture out, one night can cause a creeper or a rogue to fall from a roof and explode on your head, resulting in immediate death and destruction to your home.



The second night is usually much easier. You'll fond that the more you play, the more ammunition you'll have to combat the monsters. It's great fun and you'll soon be addicted.
