Bernhard Burgener asks for the sale of David Degen's shares.

The ongoing dispute over the ownership of FC Basel between Bernhard Burgener and David Degen is one more move. Burgener's plans are backed and supported by the Board of Directors. But, there is no agreement reached.
The FC Basel Holding AG Board of Directors met on Monday morning. Burgener and Degen together with Karl Odermatt & Peter von Buren and Peter von Buren, voted in favor of the former owner. In doing so in doing so, the Board of Directors relies on the terms of a contract that permits Burgener to sell its own shares to the shareholders of minority shareholders on the same terms. According to FC Basel Holding AG, Burgener (and Degen) are in search of an out-of court settlement in the "interests of FCB"
