Minecraft builds have reached an all-time high. Redstone - which has already been used to create the Ghostbusters theme and a playable version of Dance Dance Revolution, and even real-world Redstone devices - has now been used by YouTubers to create an actual version of MS Paint, inside the multiplayer building game.
Microsoft Paint is also known as "that program we used to learn IT lessons but couldn’t access the internet", has seen numerous improvements in the last few years. Remaking the latest version of it would be a tall task, even for the talented Redstoners of YouTube, so instead, MattBatWings and Sloimay have focused on the old version and have used it as the base for a an extremely detailed and cool project that is definitely on our list of the most impressive Minecraft builds.
MattBatWings demonstrates the entire process of creation. The building of MS Paint isn't something that they or Sloimay really plan, but raher decide to cobble(stone) together when they're selected to participate in the video of Sipover the YouTuber who is pitting these two Minecraft Redstone pros against a team of normal people.
Sloimay and MattBatWings decide to implement the brush tool and line tool, along with the square and circle tools and a sprite tool. Although it may sound simple, you should remember that not all of this is native Minecraft. They have to build each feature with Redstone programming, as well as the screen. This is a great example of the creativeness that Minecraft builders can bring to the table, with MattBatWings explaining each feature in detail.
