Are you familiar with Minecraft? It has a lot of fans and I'm sure that you've heard of it. Minecraft is a game that involves placing blocks to create whatever you want. It is a game focused on building and creativity players to construct structures from cubes that are textured in a 3D world. Gameplay in its commercial release has two principal modes one of which is Survival that requires players to gain resources by themselves and maintain their health and nutrition as well as Creative, where the player has an unlimited supply of resources and the ability to fly, and no concept of health or hunger.
Our children wake up to a room decorated with birthday party decorations for their birthdays.
For the tablescape, I designed Minecraft plates and cups. I stuck the Minecraft face to the cups. I used the Minecraft face to attach the plates. Then I hot glued an uncolored plate to the top.
Minecraft blocks were part of the table decorations. I also hung a few from the ceiling.
They were loved by children.

I used freezer paper stencils to make my son's creeper shirts.
I printed some Minecraft images to create an invitation to a birthday. Then I made use of an Minecraft word generator (to add the words I wanted to add) to the Creeper signs. You can download the generator here: Minecraft MemeGenerator
I purchased the Minecraft pic-ax and I used the packaging to make a decorative sign. I made the Minecraft Steve heads with glue, paper, and card board boxes.
The Steve heads were extremely popular with the kids. Here's a picture of my boys and the Steve heads in the morning before school.
Although you can buy Steve heads online, it is much cheaper to make them yourself, especially because I made four.

I made block brownies for an afternoon snack.
I created a Creeper Birthday Cake using green frosting and chocolate bars.
It was a Creeper-filled Minecraft birthday.
