Technoblade, Popular Minecraft Creator, Dies from Cancer at the Age Of 23.

LOS ANGELES (Variety.com) - Technoblade one of the top YouTube creator who was a specialist in Minecraft let's play videos was killed one year after he was diagnosed with the diagnosis of cancer according to the family statement. He was 23 years old.



Technoblade's YouTube channel has shared an emotional YouTube video where the YouTuber's father revealed that his son was dead. "He was the most amazing child anyone could ever wish for," his father said. "I am so sorry for Technoblade."



The video of the Thursday, titled "so long geeks," featured a posthumous message from its creator to his fans. The message was read by his father. "Hello everyone, Technoblade here. If you're reading this I'm dead," Technoblade's message said and revealed that his real name is Alex. "Thank for all of you who have supported my work over the years. If I had another hundred lives I'm pretty sure I'd prefer to be Technoblade over and over again since those were the most enjoyable years of my life."



On Technoblade's store online, a message says "In honor of his memory, a portion of the profits from all online orders will be donated to a fantastic organization known as curesarcoma.org," linking to the Sarcoma Foundation of America.



Technoblade who's online avatar was an crowned king pig currently has 10.8 million users on his YouTube channel. "I play too many video games. His YouTube bio states that he might not be the best , but that he has hot elbows.



The video was posted on Thursday, with the following statement: "We, the Technoblade family, wanted you to know how much he loved and respected his fans. From Technoblade's earliest online days the founder was always thinking of ways to please and reward his fans. He managed to keep his charming humility despite his accomplishments and maintain a charming balance between his confidence level and his self-deprecating wit. We ask that you honor his desire to keep his identity secret and to avoid becoming famous.



The statement continued, "This past year has been filled with rough spots for our son, who was fighting stage four cancer. He didn't whine and continued to utilize his brain to conquer what he thought was almost impossible odds. My son's determination on this journey was a great lesson for all of us who were fortunate enough to be able to walk with him. Thank you for sharing his journey as he completed the work he loved for his beloved fans."



According to his father, Technoblade composed his final message to his fans approximately eight hours before he died. "I do not think he said everything he wanted to say however I believe he was able to get the most important points across," his father said.



Technoblade disclosed his cancer diagnosis in August 2021. He said he started feeling discomfort in his right arm during the previous month, initially thinking it was a stress-related injury caused by gaming.
