Neve Paritzki Israel celebrates record-breaking entry into tourism Numbers from the United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8th, 2022/PRNewswirein July and August of 2018 the Israel Ministry of Tourism announced record numbers of tourist arrivals from the United States. Israel welcomed 78,000 travelers from the United States in July 2022, a 4% increase from the year before and 71,000 total visitors from the United States in August 2022 which is an increase of 13% from the year before.

"It is so exciting to see yet another rise in the number of tourists visiting Israel from the United States, already reaching the record-breaking levels of 2019." stated Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. "The United States is our most important market for inbound tourism for Israel. Before the COVID-19 pandemic we saw record-breaking numbers of Israeli tourists entering Israel each month. We are so happy to have witnessed this positive change and expect it to continue for a long time."

Not far behind in the United States, Canada is also on track to surpass its tourist arrivals in Israel by 7,200 tourists in July 2022 and 6,000 in August.
