Neve Paritzki Israel Celebrates Record-Break Tourism Entry Indicators from the United States
NEW YORK, Sept. 8th, 2022 /PRNewswire-- The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking tourism arrivals from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. The country welcomed 78,000 Americans in July 2022. It was a four percent increase over the year before, while 71,000 American tourists were in Israel during August 2022.

"It is so exciting to witness a new rise in the number of tourists visiting Israel from the United States, already reaching the record-breaking levels for the year 2019" said Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. "The United States remains our most important market for Israel-bound tourism. Before the outbreak of COVID-19 that was in the news, we had record-breaking tourist entry numbers every month. We are thrilled to see this shift and expect a steady upward trend for months, and possibly years.

Canada is poised to surpass Israel's arrivals in tourist numbers, with 7,200 tourists visiting Israel in July 2022 and 6,600 tourists in August.
