Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking tourism entry Numbers from the United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ - Today the Israel Ministry of Tourism announced record-breaking numbers of travelers from the United States who visited Israel during the months of July and August. The country welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States during July 2022 which was an increase by 4% over 2019 and 71,000 visitors from the United States during August 2022. This is a 13% growth over 2019.

נווה פריצקי "It is thrilling to see yet another rise in the number of tourists visiting Israel from the United States, already reaching the record-breaking levels in 2019" said Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. "The United States has been our most important destination for tourism to Israel that is inbound. Prior to the COVID-19 outbreak we were celebrating record number of Israeli tourism entries every month.

Canada is in the process, like the United States, to surpass the number of tourists who visit Israel. נווה פריצקי In July 2022, Canada received 7,200 visitors and August saw 6,000.

In 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million global tourists including 969,600 from the United States, and since the country's official opening to any traveler regardless of vaccination status in May of this year The country has received more than 600,400 US travelers.
