Anthony Albanese stole the show at an Indie Rock show drinking a pint, and having the time (and the money) of his life.

The Australian Prime Minister was in the front row in the gallery of the Enmore Theatre in Sydney for the Gang of Youths concert on Monday night.
After being noticed by fans at the stalls beneath, Mr Albanese took a sip of the beer he had consumed before presenting the empty bottle to the crowd.
His effort was met with cheers of awe from the adoring audience.

The photos of Mr Albanese's drinking effort quickly became viral online and many people compared it to the efforts of former larrikin Australian prime minister Bob Hawke.
'I don't think I ever saw a group of theatre-goers, turn to the bleachers, and cheer for the former president", wrote one writer.

Although it's not clear whether Mr. Albanese was invited by the band, he is well-known for attending music festivals regularly and being friends with many local artists including Sticky Fingers.
Enmore Theatre is located in Mr Albanese's electorate of Grayndler. He is also known to be a fan of indie rock and has also hosted Rage, an ABC music video show.
