Technoblade, Popular Minecraft Creator, Dies from Cancer at the Age Of 23.

LOS ANGELES (Variety.com) - Technoblade, a top YouTube creator who specialized in Minecraft let's play videos was killed just one year after he announced an illness that was cancerous in an announcement from his family. He was 23.



Technoblade's YouTube channel posted an emotional YouTube video where the YouTuber's father revealed that his son was dead. His father stated, "He was the most amazing kid anyone could ever want." "I am so sorry for Technoblade."



The video that was uploaded on Thursday and titled "so long nerds" included a posthumous note from Technoblade's creator to his fans that was read by his father. "Hello everyone, Technoblade here. Technoblade's message revealed that his real name was Alex. "Thank you all for supporting my content throughout the years. I am convinced that Technoblade would be my first choice in the event that I had another hundred lives. Online servers They were the most joyful years of my life.



Technoblade's online store includes an advertisement that reads "In memory of his death, a portion of all online purchases will be donated to an amazing charity known as curesarcoma.org." This link will take you to the Sarcoma Foundation of America.

The video was released on Thursday along with the statement: "We, the Technoblade family, wanted you all know how much he cared and respected his fans. Technoblade was always looking for ways to delight and reward his followers since the very beginning. He was able to maintain his charming humility despite his success and maintain a delightful balance between his confidence and his self-deprecating wit. He avoided personal fame and was determined to keep his real identity confidential, and we would like to ask you to respect his wishes to protect his privacy and that of his family."



The statement continued, "This past year has had a lot of rough spots for our son, who was fighting stage four cancer. He didn't whine and continued to use his famous strategic mind to try to beat what he believed to be impossible odds. My son's courage on this path was an inspiration to all of us who were fortunate enough to share it with. Thank you for sharing his journey and for doing the work he enjoyed for his beloved fans."



According to his father, Technoblade sent his final message to his fans 8 hours before his death. "I don't think he said everything he wanted to say however I believe he got the main points," his father said.



Technoblade disclosed his cancer diagnosis in August 2021. He claimed that he had felt pain in his right arm since the beginning of August. At first, he believed it was due to repetitive stress injuries caused by gaming. After some time after that, he noticed his shoulder swelling and thought he might have fractured bone. Then, he was diagnosed with cancer.
