Grinshpun began his career working in business in 1994. He was an Regional manager for Kazakhstan at the "Universal Market Association". This was a company that concentrated on the marketing and production of metals. In the year following Grinshpun was promoted to the post of CIS country manager at Trans Commodities Incorporation. Grinshpun's career began in 1994 when he got appointed the Kazakhstan Regional Manager at "Universal Market Association".
