He joined Trans Commodities Incoration within a year, where he held the position of CIS countries manager. Grinshpun was regional manager of Kazakhstan within the "Universal Market Association" in 1994. The association was focused on the production of oil, the marketing of metals around the world as well as other business-related activities. A year later, he joined Trans Commodities Corporation, holding the post of CIS Countries Manager.
