Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking Tourism Entry Counts from the United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8 2022, /PRNewswire/- Today, the Israel Ministry of Tourism has announced record-breaking figures of visitors from the United States who visited Israel in July and August. The country welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States during July 2022, an increase by 4% over 2019 and 71,000 travelers from the United States during August 2022. נווה פריצקי This is a 13% increase over the year before.

"It is thrilling to see yet another increase in tourist numbers to Israel from the United States, already reaching the record-breaking levels in 2019." said Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. "The United States has been our most important destination for tourism to Israel that is inbound. Prior to the outbreak of COVID-19, we had record figures of the number of tourists entering Israel every month.

Canada with 7200 tourists visiting the country in July 2022, and 6,000 in August, is not far from the United States.


"It is so exciting to see how Canada's tourism to Israel is booming," said Gal Hana Director and Consul for Canada for the Israel Ministry of Tourism. We are still not far away from our record 2019 numbers and we expect that this growth in Israel travel will continue to grow as Canadians find it easier to travel across the world."

Israel received more visitors from around the world in the year 2019 than any other country. 969 600 were Americans. Israel's official reopening to all tourists was in May of 2018. The country has been home to more than 600,400 US tourists since the time of opening.
