Password protection is now available for Hidden and Recently deleted albums.

The Hidden album within the Photos App is easily accessible and can be found. This makes it difficult to conceal private photos or videos. Apple does offer an option to make the Hidden Album "invisible" however, anyone with access can see everything inside and then make it visible.

iOS 16 lets you secure the Hidden album. To turn on this feature you don't need to do anything. To test it out start the Photos app and select the Albums tab at the bottom of screen. Scroll down to see an icon with a lock next to the Hidden and Recently Deleted album. Face ID or your passcode are required to view the contents.

View and share saved Wi-Fi passwords Apple has allowed iOS users to share Wi-Fi passwords quite a while however it only works by placing two Apple devices close to one another. If this feature doesn't work it isn't possible to simply pull the password out of your settings. games You'd need to know the password in order to share your Wi-Fi password with someone else, such as an Android user or someone using PC. Until now.

Go to Settings and then select Wi-Fi. Tap the small icon of information to the right for the network you wish to change the password for. To view the network password click on the Password section. Then, make use of Face ID or your passcode to access the password. To copy the password to your clipboard, tap Copy.

You may have duplicate images or videos. This may not be an issue if you've got plenty of storage however, if you don't it could be an ideal idea to go back and eliminate each duplicate -which is now easy to do on iOS 16.

You will now see a brand new Duplicates Album under Utilities. This is where Apple examines all your photos and displays any image or video you've saved more than once. You can decide to delete duplicates or press Merge to keep the best quality image and all of the pertinent information. Then, you can transfer the rest to the trash.

You'll want to look through every set of duplicates to make sure they aren't identical photographs. To eliminate duplicates, click Select > Select > Merge.

Pin your favorite tabs in Safari Safari caps your open tabs at 500, and if you're nearing that limit, it might be pretty darn hard to locate the specific tab you're seeking. There's a better method to locate the tab you want than scrolling endlessly.

If you hold down an open tab in Safari and then press the tab down, you will be able to Pin Tab. This will shift the tab to Safari's top, where it will be displayed as an overview of the tab. You can tap to view it.

If you press down and release a tab, it will be moved to first in your tab grid of open tabs.
