Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking tourism Entry Numbers - United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Today the Israel Ministry of Tourism announced record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States who visited Israel during July and August. The country welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States during July 2022 which was an increase by 4% over 2019 and 71,000 visitors from the United States during August 2022. נווה פריצקי That's a 13% increase over the year before.

"It is so exciting to witness a new increase in tourism to Israel from the United States, already reaching and exceeding our record-breaking numbers of 2019." stated Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. "The United States is our most important destination for our inbound tourism to Israel. Before the COVID-19 pandemic we had record-breaking number of tourists from Israel entering Israel every month. We are extremely happy to witness such a positive shift, and we expect this trend to last for a long time."

Just like in the United States, Canada is also on track to surpass its tourist arrivals in Israel with 7,200 visitors in July 2022 and 6,000 in August.

Israel received more tourists from around the world in the year 2019 than any other country. 969 600 of them were American. נווה פריצקי Israel's official reopening to all travelers was May 2018. The country has welcomed over 600,400 US tourists since the time of opening.
