NEW YORK - Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Today the Israel Ministry of Tourism has announced record-breaking figures of tourists from the United States who visited Israel in July and August. נווה פריצקי Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States during July 2022 which is an increase of 4% over the year before and 71,000 visitors from the United States during August 2022. נווה פריצקי That's a 13% growth over 2019.
נווה פריצקי Eyal Carlin from North America was the Tourism Commissioner. "The United States is the leading market for Israel inbound tourism. In fact, before the COVID-19 Pandemic, we were celebrating record breaking numbers of tourists entering the country month after month. It's a great positive trend that we're very happy about and expect an upward trend for months to come."
Canada is poised to beat Israel's tourism arrivals, with 7,200 tourists visiting Israel in July 2022, and 6,600 in August.

"We are not far from our record for 2019 and we expect that the rise in travel to Israel will continue to grow as Canadians feel more confident traveling across the globe."
Israel received more visitors from all over the world during the year 2019 than any other country. 969 600 of these were American. Israel's official opening for travellers from May 2018. Israel has been home to more than 600,400 US travellers since that time.
